Since our inception in 1961, Venjara Carpets proudly held monopolized market share in hand knotted rugs, made from wool and silk. With manufacturing units across different parts of rural India, predominantly in the weaver’s belt in Bhadohi, our company flourished in exporting jute, straw mats & coir made in India to neighboring Gulf & European countries in the 80s. We got our big break when exports expanded into prestigious catalogue houses such as Carrefour & La Redoute France, departmental stores such as REWE Group, Germany, and home furnishing stores like Pier 1 Import USA & Habitat UK.
1961
The ultimate veteran in the world of weaving magic through wool, silk and all things good, Mr. Shaukat Nensey was able to identify a severely under-appreciated crevasse of craftsmanship in the industry and made it his purpose in life to fill the same.
1985
Mr. Shaukat Nensey’s prodigy and yet another seasoned mogul in our industry, Mr. Immamodin Nensey has gone an extra mile at every juncture to make his father’s dreams come true.
2001
With Mr. Salman Nensey’s able guidance, Venjara Carpets has been successful in diversifying its product range by leaps and bounds, multiplying their occupational and spatial versatility.
2024
Deeply inspired by her ancestors and all set to carry their textile statesmanship and business acumen to new horizons, Ms. Aishaa Nensey is the latest entrant in the management, with her expertise in contemporary floorcloth know-how and blueprint.
With passing times and a wonderful repeat customer rate, we have been gracefully able to penetrate into all sorts of flooring solutions right from our classic range of hand-tufted and hand-knotted rugs to the state-of-the-art flooring solutions like wooden flooring, wood and stone plastic composite flooring, hospitality axminster carpets, carpet tiles, residential rugs, event carpets, vinyl flooring, mosque carpeting, artificial turf and many more.
